• Scoring at the 2007 Women’s World Cup in China with a header that was voted in the ‘Top 10’ goals of the tournament (in total, there were over 100 goals scored).

Why football: My Dad is Scottish and has played football his whole life, although I’m sure it didn’t take much to influence me!

• My parents have supported me through the ups and downs of my career.
• Kelly Cross coached me at Westfields Sports High (Skill and Technique)
• My current coach at the moment for The Matildas Tom Sermanni has taught me a lot about the sports psychology and mental side of Football.
Ambitions: During my career I would like to win a major competition (Olympics or World Cup). My ultimate dream is to Captain Australia. When my playing career is finished, I would like to remain in football using my experiences to give back to the younger generation coming through the ranks. I would also like to own my own clothing brand - I love the fashion industry!

Favourite sports stars and why:
David Beckham - after meeting David Beckham in person and seeing him play football live I have gained the upmost respect for him both on and off the field. His humble nature and gracious personality took me by surprise, especially as he is the highest paid footballer. He is a true champion both on and off the field and someone I admire greatly.
Best opponent and/ or team mate: Best opponent is Brazil and North Korea and my best team mates are Sarah Walsh & Danielle Small.
